I don't want to talk about it
My boyfriend’s mom surrendered to her nearly year long battle with cancer yesterday morning. While most of me is filled with peace and relief to know she is no longer suffering, I am also filled with a deep sadness both for him and for myself for not having more time with such a generous, kind hearted woman. The world needs more people like Patty, not less. She will be missed.

I am SO HUNGOVER.
We had a sort of work holiday party last night and that chip that says “hey, maybe you shouldn’t have that 8th glass of wine” malfunctioned and I was DRUNK.  Boyfriend is MAD at me. Day 10 - One Thing You've Lied About
I tend not to be a liar. I hate nothing in this world more than being lied to. So I try not to do it to other people.  However.  I am not innocent.  I lie about my height all the time. Well, I used to. I am pretty damn short. And for years I told people I was 5’4”. But, in reality I am only 5’3.5”. A half inch may not seem like much, but to me it may as well be a foot.

It's snowing.
I despise the snow. I know, I know. I need to not live in Ohio. I. GET. THAT. But I’m stuck here for now.  So, I am wearing 2 pairs of socks, my warmest, comfiest yoga pants, tank, tee, cardigan AND hoodie and matzoh ball soup is simmering on the stove.  Now, when boyfriend gets home, we will watch movies and I will fall asleep and when I wake up, I will live somewhere tropical.
